Dom Brown is a London-based singer and songwriter. But more than anything, he is a phenomenal guitarist. He began playing at the relatively late age of 14, and spent the next few years obsessively crafting his style and developing his songwriting; and since his first college band, he hasn't looked back.

He has made music his life. After college he set up another band, with his father, Rob Brown of Gets/z Loose, stepping in as lead vocalist. Dom's dynamic stage persona developed alongside the extraordinary and bizarre performance style of the older Brown. Together they trawled the London funk and blues circuit, while Dom immersed himself in the raw intensity of the great blues and R&B artists.

Singing was the obvious next step and soon became a passion. Fronting a new band, he toured round Britain and found great success in France, where he played several major festivals, concerts in Paris, and got regular radio airplay. Then he took his songs to the US, got some local musicians on board, and made a name for himself playing at top LA clubs (the Whiskey, Roxy, Troubadour etc). His songs, performance, and guitar style had a twist and an edge that always separated him from other artists in the blues/rock genre.

Back in London, Dom was very much in demand as a session player, and worked with several major label artists, such as Appleton, Liam Gallagher, Beenie Man, Emma Bunton, Elton John, Amy Studt, Rod Stewart, Eddy Grant, Eagle Eye Cherry, Brian McFadden, Archive and most recently Duran Duran.

But Dom's main love is songwriting, and he has never stopped. He fuses singer-songwriter intimacy with electrifying guitar intensity. Though his music still retains a blusey sensibility, Dom has moved on from the traditional blues/rock genre, becoming more experimental and developing a unique and original style. With his band, which includes Darrin Mooney ( Primal Scream ) on drums, Martha Riley on violin and Phil Spalding on bass, he has twice headlined Ronnie Scott's, the Borderline, the 100 Club, Soho's legendary 12 Bar Club and the Bedford (formerly the Kashmir Club). A recent performance on BBC London radio left the interviewer quite bemused: "These are beautiful and well crafted songs delivered with true emotion. I can't believe he's not signed."

Аня, скажу даже больше, информация там может меняться раз в секунду...
ВИКИПЕДИЯ это такой ресурс, где каждый пользователь может прийти и "подрегулировать" информацию. История о том, кто и что добавил/удалил хранится в базе данных все время жизни ресурса. Так что один написал одно, другой - другое. А информация с обоих сторон может быть не верна. Так что остается надеяться, что народ не хулиганит на таких ресурсах, а выдает то, что верно знает и не меньше.
