Терпеть я не могу все эти каверы !!!!

В принципе, каверы я люблю. Хотя, конечно, каверы бывают разные - хорошие и не очень. Но мне всегда интересно услышать, что сделали с известной мне песней - иногда бывают очень любопытные переделки, например Hungry Like The Wolf с того альбома каверов, что с тортиком на обложке. Сначала кавер на эту песню мне очень не понравился (это было еще в далеком 1997, когда вышел этот трибьютный альбом), а потом, позже, я оценила оригинальность данной переделки. От большинства же остальных песен в панковской обработке я тогда была в восторге и прыгала до потолка. Сейчас энергии у меня немного поубавилось...

К каверам хорощо сделаным отношусь положительно. Вот не давно слышала песню уж не знаю кто ее играл. Fire называеться там была оень не плохая музычка и непрерывное пение Саймона слов из песни Сириос. Была счастлива! Настроение поднелось на весь день.

ИМХО каверы это круто, т.к. плохую песню перепевать глупо, а хит(и не только) в новом исполнении чаще становится популярным, чем наоборот. Кстати, никто кроме Midnight Sun не поможет с поисками?

Только что услышала ужасный и тошнотувызывающий кавер на Save a prayer. Слава Богу, не знаю, кто исполнитель...
Там было только тыц-тыц, характерное для нашего времени, и всего лишь пара фраз из песни. "You saw me standing by the wall" и "some people call it one night stand but we can call it paradise".
Но слово-описание одно, зато исчерпывающее - ж%#а.
Извините за излишнюю эмоциональность.

Нет, это кавер. Ремикс - это когда оригинал миксуют. А там просто перепевка была. Скорее это был ремикс кавера
Да просто слышно, что новый, можно сказать новейший...
После SAP на радио прозвучали также не менее ужасающие каверы-миксы на Forever young Alphavill'я, и Master & Servant депешей...

многие каверы может и не лучше но очень интересны (это я про каверы ДД)

не много не согласна с высказыванием что все (это я в целом) каверы всегда хуже оригинала.

Я слышала оригинал Femme Fatale, он очень хорош. И все же, все же... Дюрановский кавер мне нравится больше, потому что, во-первых, люблю Duran Duran, а не Velvet Undeground, а во-вторых, кавер я услышала первым, он для меня стал "оригиналом". Из остальных дюрановских каверов люблю Perfect Day, нравится White Lines, Thank You и Lay Lady Lay (Drive By само собой). Остальные просто не слушаю. Увы, дюрановский альбом каверов действительно самый провальный, тут я с Q Magazine полностью согласна.

Что касается каверов других групп на дюрановские песни, то есть хорошие варианты, интересные инструментальные обработки, кое-что мне даже нравится (Come Undone, исполненная Happy Rhodes, например). Но вот какая штука, сколько не слушала каверов, не встречала ни одного, где бы был интересный вокал. Хороший сильный голос (это уже само по себе редкость), который не копировал бы при этом оригинальную Саймоновскую манеру исполнения.

Если кто-нибудь знает такой кавер, поделитесь ссылкой пожалуйста.

и мне тоже не понравилась... (( бяка . Я вообще каверы на них не могу слушать. . И как они только позволяют себя перепивать таким певцам/певицам? Она же петь не умеет.!!!! Когда она бросила свою группу, и начала ездить со своими концертами сама, залы просто расходились... На столько ужасно она пела.. Дыхание сбивалось, в общем мрак. Пришлось вернуться. Это ведь чисто танцевальная группа, вот и пусть дальше танцует. Облом ей а не Рио

Шерзингер не то чтобы испоганила песню... Она её сделала просто ну, никакой. В этой версии нет ни эмоций в вокальной партии, ни внятной музыки. В ней невозможно узнать ту яркую, солнечную песню, которой и является оригинал.

А что касается Шерзингер - вы все к ней слишком строги. Конечно, дюрановская версия лучше и в вокальном, и в инструментальном смысле, вообще каверы в 99% уступают оригиналам. У нее получилась просто другая песня, не содранная тупо у DD по манере исполнения.

И какая доблесть в том, чтобы в комментах к клипу на YouTube написать про нее гадость? Причем трусливо - на языке, который подавляющее большинство смотрящих клип не знает и смысла надписи все равно не поймет.

Ой, Lily, спасибо большое! развлекла честно скажу, сначала подумала, что это какие-нибудь Alice in chains, но потом нечаянно наткнулась на "нужного" исполнителя Неудивительно, что я голос не узнала, стыдно, но я его только в интервью до этого слышала

клаассс, я к тому же столько каверов на Wild boys нашла во время поисков, в основном паршивых только версия New Romantic Orchestra понравилась...

"Я его только в интервью до этого слышала" - это легко поправить. Я, пожалуй, в ближайшее время займусь пропагандой его сольного творчества. А то у нас на форуме в сторонних проектах сильный перевес в сторону "Аркадии", о других работах музыкантов мало что сказано.

Вообще мне нравится и то, и то.... Мне не понравился сам стиль исполнения чтоли.. как он пел.... Кароче каверы на ДД я не перевариваю. Даже если один из тех кто перепел, являлся участником группы.

Если следовать твоей логике, вообще ничто ни с чем сравнивать нельзя. Потому что обязательно одно из двух окажется хуже.

Я считаю, вокал Энди можно сопоставлять с саймоновским хотя бы на том основании, что Энди уже давно перестал быть бессловесным гитаристом. Он стал вокалистом, у него есть сольные альбомы, где он сам поет. И это не какие-нибудь сделанные на коленке анрелизы, а вполне себе официальные издания, к которым вдобавок синглы выходили, снимались клипы, организовывались концертные выступления. Все по-взрослому. Значит, спрос здесь с Энди соответственный - как с профессионального вокалиста.

Мое сравнение вокала Энди с Саймоном совершенно корректно.

неплохой, в общем.
я нашёл ещё такие каверы - вроде ещё не было:
Enimus - Ordinary World
не слушать ни в коем случае! вокал отвратителен, но это ещё не самое страшное, так как его практически не слышно за отовсюду выпирающими басами и т.п. Ад для ушей,в общем
ещё одна версия OW - в исполнении известной команды Gregorian
вполне в духе этой группы, ничего нового не открыли, но и песню,что самое главное, не испортили. просто исполнили её на свой лад.
Nicotine - OW
ещё одна рок-версия,не заслуживающая никакого внимания + с мерзковатым голоском,её исполняющим

особо хочу отметить каверы на горячо любимую мной песню - Come Undone:
It Dies Today - CU
это просто 3,14...ц - даже не пытайтесь это слушать,не надо
Cavo feat. Shannon Nicole - CU
лучшая,на мой взгляд, (рок-)версия. мелодия не исковеркана, вокал вполне ничего себе (до Саймона всё же далеко), даже присутствует женский бэк-вокал, очень неплохо!
интересно ваше мнение по поводу русской версии песни (текст <почти> оригинальный!):

когда мужик начинает петь, кажется, что "шеф,всё пропало!"
но дослушайте до конца,думаю, не пожалеете.

люблю каверы, но что касается Дюранов, на сегодня слышал только один, который вставил меня сильнее оригинала: это Deftones "The Chauffeur". чертовски хороший кавер, раскрыли песню полностью, сохранив ее сердце, не искажая своей крутизной, как некоторые..
