Случилось маленькое чудо. Мне записали эту кассету - у одной из моих питерских знакомых она недавно оказалась и я, конечно же, выпросила себе копию. И вот, вчера я ЭТО посмотрела.

Действие происходит в 1984 году. Дюрановцы еще зеленые совсем, но к славе уже привыкли. Часа полтора (я не засекала, но по-моему, именно столько идет фильм) показывают как делается это явление - Дюран Дюран. Злобный продюсер ругается по телефону, операторы совещаются перед съемкой концерта, звукорежиссеры сидят за пультами, гримеры накладывают грим, саунд чек... Большой мальчик Ник Роудс не может оторваться от видеоигры и его на руках вытаскивают на сцену. Джон на прессконфе признается, что предпочитает Пепси, в то время, как спонсором их тура является Кока-Кола. Роджер палочками стирает руки в кровь. Саймон говорит, что родился со своим инструментом. Итальянская журналистка при записи программы представляет музыкантов и забывает, как зовут Энди - все начинают просто ржать...

И фанатки... Толпы фанаток, которые бьются в истерике и падают в обморок. Полумертвых, охрана перетаскивает их через ограду и выносит на руках. Я принадлежу ко второй волне дюрани, которая появилась после выхода Свадебного альбома, так что подобная дюраноистерия меня здорово потрясла. Такого я не видела - разве что фильмы о Битлз напичканы такими же толпами неуравновешенных балбесок. Я знала, конечно, что ДД были очень популярны, но чтоб так... Поистине, 1984 - самый пик дюраномании.

В общем, мне понравилось. Надо бы дюранам переиздать этот фильм на DVD.

Просмотрела SBS. Господи, все там ещё такие сопливые! И трогательные. Фанатки тоже шокировали. Сколько им там всем было? От 15 до 17? Столько эмоций, причём ТАК проявляющихся. А я-то себя записывала в сумашедшие.
Узнать кухню приготовления к концерту было очень интересно. Интервью, саундчеки, фотосесии и прочее.... Чем больше я их узнаю, тем больше они мне нравятся))))
